Registered Manager – Children’s Home
Location: King’s Lynn, Norfolk
Salary: £42,624 – £45,793 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
Maximum Salary: £49,566 (performance related)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week
The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a Solo/Dual children’s home in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Join an experienced Care Management Team and lead a committed staff team focused on nurturing each child’s potential.
- Lead and develop your team using a trauma-informed, child-centred model of care that underpins everything the organisation does.
- Support young people’s emotional, physical, educational and social wellbeing so they can thrive.
- Work closely with the Therapeutic Team, who provide guidance, tools and support to embed trauma-informed care, alongside access to regular clinical supervision.
- Provide effective staff support including reflective supervision, guidance and annual appraisals, utilising specialist workforce training programmes to develop your team.
- Work in partnership with children and young people, their families, colleagues and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes.
- Collaborate with transition services to support young people moving on from care and ensure continuity of support.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and high standards of care.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong experience in children’s residential care and leadership – Essential.
- A relevant qualification (minimum Level 3 Diploma in a childcare related qualification) – Essential.
- A good understanding of trauma-informed practice and therapeutic parenting approaches.
- A commitment to creating a safe, stable and homely environment where children feel they belong.
- Excellent partnership working skills with professionals, families and colleagues.
- A passion for supporting teams and delivering the highest quality of care.
