This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, practical, and motivated RVN looking to progress their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice group.We are particularly keen to hear from nurses who enjoy utilising their practical skillset, remain calm under pressure, and are enthusiastic about supporting and mentoring student nurses and apprentices.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver consistently high standards of nursing care to patientsSupport veterinary surgeons with procedures, work-ups, and patient monitoringProvide excellent client care, maintaining a friendly, professional, and approachable mannerActively contribute as a team player, supporting colleagues across departmentsAssist with the training, support, and development of student nurses and apprenticesMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environmentFor ECC roles: deliver high-quality inpatient and emergency care during day and night shiftsRequirementsRegistered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS)Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanourStrong communication skills with both colleagues and clientsProactive, practical, and calm under pressureCooperative team player with a positive attitudeKeen to support training and development of othersWhat We OfferSalary: £30,000£36,000 DOEAnnual CPD budget: £1,000 per annumClear progression and development pathwaysPension enrolment after 3 months of employmentHoliday entitlement:Non-ECC roles: 28 days including bank holidaysAdditional leave benefits:1 additional day of annual leave accrued per year of service (up to 10 years)Birthday offECC Role Specifics (Surbiton Hospital)7 days on / 14 days off rotaNights (8pm - 8am)Exposure to a varied medical and post surgical caseloadThis role would suit an RVN who is career-driven, hands-on, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care, while helping to shape and support the next generation of veterinary nurses.JBRP1_UKTJ
