Join our passionate team as a Regulatory Compliance Manager, where you'll play a key role in shaping a culture of trust, transparency, and compliance across E.ON Next. Working closely with the Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager, you'll collaborate with colleagues across the business and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your work will span consumer protections, environmental and social schemes, commercial activities, and industry codes. Responsibilities
Interpreting and communicating key regulations (such as Ofgem supplier licence conditions, GDPR, Ofcom, and ASA advertising codes) in a clear and accessible way. Building and nurturing relationships with external partners, including Ofgem, DESNZ, and Citizens Advice. Supporting the Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager in drafting regulatory responses, consultation feedback, and information requests, ensuring our voice and values are reflected. Raising awareness of regulatory topics through collaboration, education, and knowledge sharing. Partnering with teams to identify risks and develop practical, people-focused solutions. Analysing regulatory changes and assessing their impact on the business. Championing a positive compliance culture, acting as a trusted advisor and problem-solver. Recommending actions that align with E.ON Next's strategy in response to regulatory change. Collaborating across the Chief of Staff team to drive business-wide compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
Clear communicator who can turn complex regulations into meaningful insights. Collaborative and enjoy building relationships across teams. Genuine interest in retail energy regulation and its impact. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Solutions-driven, always looking for ways to improve. Strong sense of responsibility and takes pride in work. Confident writing reports, briefings, or consultation responses. Eager to learn and grow within a purpose-led, values-driven team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or familiarity with retail energy, compliance, regulation, or policy. Knowledge of key stakeholders such as Ofgem, DESNZ, Energy UK, or Citizens Advice. Exposure to compliance areas like data privacy, advertising standards, or consumer rights. A curious, open mindset and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge. A proactive approach to teamwork - ready to ask questions, offer ideas, and lend a hand. Confidence using data or evidence to inform decisions and recommendations. Experience working across departments and balancing multiple priorities. A drive to make a positive, real-world impact.
