Role: Regulatory Manager – Food Production


Location: Central London, Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days WFH)

As Regulatory Specialist (or Manager, depending on experience), you’ll be the go-to person for UK and EU regulatory compliance - translating complex frameworks into clear commercial guidance. Working closely with commercial and senior leadership teams, your expertise will support new launches, keep customers happy, and ensure market access across key territories.


What you’ll be doing

  • Own regulatory compliance for food, feed, and supplements across the UK and EU
  • Monitor legal changes (BRCGS, Novel Food, REACH, FAMI QS, Organic, Halal, Kosher) and translate these into internal actions
  • Maintain and review specifications, labels, claims and documentation
  • Liaise with certification bodies and authorities to secure approvals
  • Provide training to internal teams and act as the regulatory voice of the business
  • Support wider QA and compliance projects; if at the manager level, mentor one team member


What we’re looking for

  • 3–10 years’ experience in food regulatory affairs
  • Knowledge of EU & UK food law and 2+ areas such as Novel Food, REACH, FAMI QS, Organic, Kosher, Halal, packaging/FCM
  • Clear, confident communicator who can advise stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail, but commercial and proactive in mindset
  • Comfortable managing both documentation and strategic input
  • (Manager level) Experience coaching or mentoring others
