Regulatory Senior Associate

Our client is seeking an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join a highly respected and expanding healthcare regulatory team in Manchester within a leading international law firm. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative national team known for handling high-profile, complex healthcare matters across both public and private sectors.
As a Regulatory Senior Associate, you will:
- Work with an impressive client base that includes insurers, defence organisations, private individuals, and healthcare providers.
- Handle a broad caseload of healthcare regulatory matters.
- Represent clients before statutory regulators (GMC, NMC, GDC, etc)
- Manage disciplinary proceedings involving NHS trusts and private healthcare providers.
- Attend and prepare for coroner's inquests.
- Advise on CQC enforcement, data protection issues, and occasionally criminal investigations.
- Take on significant responsibility from day one while also collaborating closely with colleagues nationwide.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum 6 years' PQE in healthcare and regulatory law.
- Strong background in regulatory defence and inquests.
- Exceptional communication and client-handling skills.
- Experience supervising junior team members is advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage complex and sensitive matters independently.
- A pragmatic, team-oriented, and solutions-focused approach.
