About the Role We are seeking an experienced Reinsurance Technical Accountant to join our dynamic Cash & Credit Control team in London. This is a key operational role responsible for managing cash and credit control across multiple entities and branches, ensuring timely premium collection and minimising bad debt exposure.

What You’ll Do Collaborate with Credit Control Managers across UK and Europe to produce accurate monthly and quarterly reporting for Underwriting, Finance, and Senior Management. Actively manage aged debt, unallocated cash, and stakeholder queries to drive continuous improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Brokers, and third-party providers. Investigate overdue premium debtors, compile reports, and liaise with Underwriters to resolve queries and mitigate bad debt risk. Support automation initiatives and process efficiency improvements, including user acceptance testing. Reconcile broker statements, manage escalations, and ensure timely settlement of all debts.
