Reliability Engineer (Solace Messaging Linux Networking) London / WFH to £100k Do you have Solace message system administration skills? You could be progressing your career at a global brokerage and technology firm, whilst enjoying a range of perks and benefits. As a Reliability Engineer you will support the enterprise messaging infrastructure, built on Solace PubSub+. You'll be responsible for administering and maintaining Solace, providing production support for messaging related incidents, monitoring system performance and configuring and optimising Solace deployments in WAN environments to ensure low latency, secure and reliable messaging. You will collaborate with development and application support teams to troubleshoot message flows and resolve integration issues, whilst overseeing capacity planning, scaling and tuning of Solace infrastructure to meet both current and future operational demands, automating wherever possible. Location / WFH: You'll join colleagues in the prestigious Canary Wharf office, with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week. About you: You have strong commercial experience of administering Solace PubSub+ messaging systems, with a good understanding of its architecture and operational demands in enterprise settings You have experience in production support, ideally within a 24x7 environment You have experience of handling distributed systems across WAN, along with a good knowledge of networking concepts, latency management and failover strategies to maintain seamless operations You have a good knowledge of observability, having used tools such as Prometheus and Grafana You have strong troubleshooting skills You have a good knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and scripting skills with Python or bash to automate operational processes You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communications skills What's in it for you: Salary to £100k Private Health and Dental Insurance Life Assurance Pension Gym membership Apply now
