About the Role: As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality cuisine for weddings and special events, as well as day-to-day dining. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef to gain experience in a high-volume, event-led kitchen. Key Details: Contract: 3 months

Hours: 40 per week (some evenings/weekends required)

Rate: £18 per hour (paid weekly)

Start date: asap

Key Responsibilities: Support the Head Chef in preparing and delivering menus for weddings and hotel guests

Oversee kitchen operations in the Head Chefs absence

Maintain high standards of hygiene, health & safety

Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff

Ensure smooth service during busy functions and events

Requirements: Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a hotel or events setting

Experience working in high-volume environments, ideally weddings or banqueting

Food hygiene certification

A calm, team-oriented approach with a passion for delivering quality food
