Zero hours contract Location:St Neots HRS and/or Wisbech HRS/Peterborough services Salary:£27,066.08 per year (pro-rata) Join Amplius as a Relief Community Support Worker and help provide vital housing support to our customers in supported accommodation.Youllhelp people live independently with dignity, promoting wellbeing and respecting their individual needs through personalised support plans and established policies. Snapshot of your role Support customers, including those with complex needs, to live independently andmaintaintenancies.
Promote dignity, choice, wellbeing, equality, and inclusion through personalised support plans.
Act as a key worker: assess needs, create andmaintainsupport plans, risk assessments, and records.
Work flexibly as part of a team or alone, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Build andmaintainrelationships with customers and external agencies to encourage social interaction and wellbeing.
Assistcustomers with practical life skills, finances, benefits, budgeting, and accessing services.
Ensure health, safety, safeguarding, and compliance withAmpliuspolicies while reporting issues and monitoring progress.
Whatwerelooking for Good literacy and numeracy, with clear communication andaccuraterecord-keeping using Microsoft Office.
Understanding of safeguarding, equal opportunities, and data protection.
Empathetic, respectful, and able tomaintainconfidentiality.
Works well independently and in a team, with a friendly and reliable approach.
Strong listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, confident in stressful situations.
Organised with attention to detail and committed to high-quality, customer-focused support.
