Job Title: Teacher of Religious EducationLocation: St Cuthbert’s RC High SchoolContract: Full Time, Temporary/PermanentStart Date: 20th April 2026 St Cuthbert’s RC High School, part of the St Teresa's Of Calcutta Academy Trust (STOCCAT), is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join their vibrant and ambitious team on a full-time temporary contract until July 2026. The role is an open vacancy and so the successful candidate will be eligible to apply for the permanent role. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and reflective practitioner to play a key role in delivering high-quality Religious Education within a Catholic school community. The successful candidate will: Deliver engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Plan and implement a broad and ambitious RE curriculum in line with diocesan and national guidance Support the Catholic ethos and spiritual life of the school Monitor and support student progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and the Trust About You We are looking for a teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Religious Education Demonstrates high expectations for all students Is committed to upholding and promoting the Catholic ethos of the school Works collaboratively and contributes to a supportive team culture About St Cuthbert’s RC High School St Cuthbert’s RC High School is a welcoming, inclusive and values-driven Catholic school.
