The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll take full ownership of the operational success of the branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll lead the team, manage fleet compliance, oversee warehouse operations, and ensure every move runs smoothly. You'll be the driving force behind efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction—balancing strategic oversight with day-to-day problem-solving.

Your key focus areas:

Fleet & Compliance Management

* Maintain full HGV operator compliance including vehicle maintenance, tachograph management, and drivers' hours

* Ensure all legal and Traffic Commissioner undertakings are met

* Manage MOT schedules, inspections, and defect reporting systems

Warehouse & Resource Management

* Oversee warehouse operations, storage administration, and container movements
