About Us

S.Electrix is an established electrical contractor based in West Yorkshire. As part of the company’s continued growth, S.Electrix is broadening into the renewable energy sector, specialising in solar PV, battery storage and EV charging installations.

We are seeking a Renewables Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of installations and support the continued growth of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or solar professional looking to step into a leadership role within a growing renewable energy division.

Role Overview

The Renewables Operations Manager will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of renewable energy installations from initial sale through to completion.

This role will involve coordinating installation teams, ensuring projects run efficiently, maintaining compliance with industry regulations and delivering excellent customer service.

While the primary focus of this role will be renewable energy installations, the successful candidate may also assist with overseeing selected commercial electrical projects where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule renewable energy installations
• Coordinate installation teams and allocate resources
• Organise scaffolding, materials, and subcontractors
• Liaise with customers before and during installations
• Conduct occasional site visits to monitor project progress
• Manage grid connection applications (G98 / G99)
• Oversee commissioning and system handovers
• Complete installation and certification documentation
• Ensure compliance with NICEIC, MCS, and electrical regulations
• Assist with preparation for annual NICEIC assessments
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across installations

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience within the electrical and solar industry and be confident managing installation projects and teams.

Essential

• Electrical industry experience
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and customer liaison skills
• Ability to coordinate installation teams and subcontractors
• Knowledge of electrical compliance and certification

Desirable

• Experience with solar PV installations
• Knowledge of G98 / G99 grid applications
• Familiarity with MCS certification processes
• Previous experience supervising installation teams
