Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for an R&D Chemist to join a manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The company will consider applicants with at least one year of industry experience or relevant PhD experience.

As the R&D Chemist you will:

• Be involved in research, formulation and testing activities to support the development of new and improved products
• Develop and test new formulations in line with project requirements
• Improve existing products to meet customer, market or regulatory needs
• Conduct laboratory testing, trials and data analysis
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Work with production to scale up products from lab to manufacturing
• Keep up to date with industry developments and best practice

To be considered for the R&d Chemist role you will need:

• Degree in Chemistry or related subject, or PhD in a relevant area
• At least one year of relevant industry or post-doctoral experience
• Knowledge of formulation chemistry and laboratory techniques
