Development Scientist

We are working with a specialist biotechnology organisation developing complex biological products within a regulated R&D environment. This is a hands on development role with a strong focus on analytical and biochemical method development, validation and product characterisation. You will sit within a multidisciplinary development team and play a key role in building, improving and validating analytical methods that directly support product development and progression.

What you will be doing Developing, optimising and validating analytical methods to support biological product development Designing and running ELISA based assays for characterisation, release and stability testing Performing HPLC and related chromatographic techniques for purity, identity and consistency assessment Applying wet chemistry and protein chemistry techniques across development studies Troubleshooting methods and improving robustness, reproducibility and performance Analysing data, interpreting results and feeding conclusions into development decisions Writing and reviewing protocols, validation reports and technical documentation in line with quality requirements Supporting technology transfer, method handover and cross functional development activities ...
