Stable, long-term work with a well-established contractor Local projects across Shropshire no excessive travel Supportive team and structured processes Opportunity to build a long-term career in social housing Be part of meaningful projects improving residents homesCompany vehicle and fuel card during working hoursTraining and progression opportunitiesThe OpportunityWere recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor for a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support planned maintenance and refurbishment works across social housing properties in Shropshire.This is a people-focused role where youll act as the key link between residents, site teams and project delivery ensuring works run smoothly while maintaining a positive resident experience.If youre someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and making a real difference, this is a role where youll thrive.Key Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout works Carry out pre-start visits, explaining works and answering queries Provide clear updates via letters, calls and face-to-face communication Manage complaints and difficult conversations professionally and empathetically Coordinate access to properties and minimise disruption Organise and attend resident meetings and updates Support vulnerable residents, ensuring needs are understood and met Maintain accurate records of resident feedback, access issues and communication logs Work closely with site teams to ensure a smooth delivery processWhat Were Looking For Experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer or similar OR strong customer-facing experience within housing, construction or property Experience working in occupied social housing environments Excellent communication skills with an empathetic, customer-first mindset Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple residents / properties IT literate (Microsoft Office / systems) Full UK driving licenceThis isnt just a liaison role its about building trust with residents, supporting communities and ensuring projects are delivered the right way.Youll be joining a contractor that values people, communication and long-term relationships, not just delivery.If youre an experienced Resident Liaison Officer or come from a strong customer-facing background and want to step into the sector wed love to hear from you.Apply now for immediate considerationJBRP1_UKTJ
