We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established national property services contractor for a Resident Liaison Officer to support housing refurbishment and improvement works across Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer-focused professional to join a stable and growing organisation delivering essential works within occupied social housing environments. The role will suit someone who thrives on communication, organisation, and ensuring residents are fully supported throughout planned works programmes.
The Role
Acting as the key point of contact between residents, site teams, and project management, you will ensure works are delivered with minimal disruption while maintaining excellent resident satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the main communication link between residents, contractors, and project teams
Conducting pre-start visits to explain works and answer resident queries
Issuing written updates, letters, and scheduling property access
Managing resident enquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally
Supporting vulnerable residents and ensuring appropriate adjustments are made
Organising and attending resident meetings and engagement sessions
Maintaining accurate records of communications, feedback, and access issues
Ensuring residents understand health and safety requirements
Supporting post-completion satisfaction checks and handovers
About You
We are looking for someone who combines excellent people skills with strong organisational ability.
You will ideally have:
Experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or within a customer-facing housing or construction role
Experience working in occupied social housing environments
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first approach
Confidence managing difficult conversations calmly and professionally
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple residents and properties
Competency with Microsoft Office and liaison tracking systems
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Housing or customer service related training
DBS clearance
