Care Home Manager Residential (Elderly & Dementia Care)Location: North London (N12)Salary: £40,000 per year + BonusesWe are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Care Home Manager to lead a residential care home in North London, supporting up to 23 residents specialising in elderly and dementia care.This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up into a leadership role within a CQC-rated Good service, supported by a dedicated off-site operations team.What We Offer Salary: £40,000 per annum £2,000 signing-on bonus* Annual performance bonus* CQC Good/Outstanding bonus* Unlimited £250 refer-a-friend bonus Support with transport and accommodation costs (London-based)* Up to 28 days annual leave Cycle to work scheme NEST pension contributions Full operational support (HR, QA, maintenance, admin) (*Terms apply)Working Hours Monday to Friday 08:00 17:00 Role OverviewAs Care Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.You will lead and develop your team, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the service.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe Safeguard residents from harm and ensure safe care practices Oversee medication management and risk assessments Ensure compliance with DoLS and safeguarding procedures Conduct safety checks (fire, legionella, etc.) Effective Ensure residents healthcare and nutritional needs are met Support staff development through supervision and training Caring Promote dignity, respect, and person-centred care Build strong relationships with residents and families Responsive Review and update care plans Respond to changing needs and feedback Well-Led Lead staff and resident meetings Promote a positive, transparent culture Drive continuous improvement and service quality Requirements NVQ Level 5 / RMA / QCF Level 5 (completed or working towards) Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager Minimum 2 years experience within residential care management Strong knowledge of CQC regulations Experience in elderly and dementia care (essential) Excellent leadership and communication skills IT literate (care systems, rostering, medication records) Additional Information Full-time, permanent role Must have the right to work in the UK Must be able to commute to North London or relocate If you are a passionate leader looking to make a real impact in elderly care, we would love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
