KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Residential Childcare Trainer/Assessor (Freelance)Location: Hybrid - Home/Field based covering Liverpool, Manchester and surroundingRate: £200 per dayType: 2 days per week for approximately 6-9 months, with possibility to extendEssential Criteria:

• Hold either a recognised Assessor award OR Level 3 Teaching qualification. 
• Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or relevant occupational experience.
• Knowledge of End Point Assessment.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

• Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, Level 3 and 4.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
• Conduct remote and face to face meetings and training sessions with learners.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
