Residential Conveyancing Locum – Hertfordshire

\nASAP Start | Long-Term Opportunity | Hybrid / Fully Remote After Week One

\nA well-established Hertfordshire-based firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Locum to support the department following a prolonged absence. The caseload has been intentionally run down and now needs to be rebuilt, alongside ongoing support for the Partner’s current workload.
\n
\nThis role would suit a reliable, proactive conveyancing locum looking for stability, autonomy, and flexibility, with the opportunity to also provide future cover for annual leave.
\n
\nThe Role
\n• Handling a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters
\n• Gradually rebuilding and progressing a previously reduced caseload
\n• Supporting both your own files and assisting with the Partner’s workload as required
\n• Initial one week in the Hertfordshire office for handover and onboarding
\n• Fully remote working thereafter, provided the caseload is managed effectively
\n
\nSystems & Support
\n• Case management system: LEAP
\n• Full secretarial support (1 dedicated secretary)
\n• Additional typing support provided via an offshore team in India
\n
\nThe Firm Is Looking For
\n• An experienced Residential Conveyancing Locum
\n• Someone proactive, organised, and reliable
\n• A locum who can be trusted to manage files independently and communicate effectively
\n• Availability to assist with future holiday cover, if required
\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to secure a longer-term locum assignment with genuine flexibility and the potential for ongoing work.
