Conveyancing Team Leader Leicester

Ahighly regarded, Legal 500 recognised and award-winning law firm, with offices across theEast Midlands, is looking for an enthusiastic and experiencedSenior Conveyancerto join as aTeam Leader, managing and developing their expandingResidential Conveyancing team in Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior conveyancer who enjoys leadership responsibilities alongside fee earning and wants to play a key role in shaping and growing a successful department.

What youll be doing:

Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:

  • Sales and purchases (including leasehold and new-build)

  • Re-mortgages

  • Equity release

  • Transfers of equity

In yourTeam Leadercapacity, you will also:

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Residential Conveyancing team

  • Act as a point of escalation and support for junior fee earners

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers

  • Drive business development and contribute to departmental growth

  • Ensure high standards of compliance, organisation, and file management

  • Work confidently with minimal supervision

  • Use case management systems effectively and promote best practice across the team

About You:
  • Proven experience within a busy residential conveyancing team

  • Confident managing a full conveyancing caseload independently

  • Previous experience in a Team Leader / supervisory / management role (essential)

  • Strong business development skills

  • Excellent organisational and compliance skills

  • IT literate, with prior experience using case management systems

  • Formal qualifications are welcomed but not essential the firm is happy toinvest in your development, includingCLC or SQE routes, if applicable
