About the Role My client is a well-established and respected law firm with a strong reputation in residential property. We pride ourselves on delivering client-focused, high-quality legal services while supporting the professional growth and development of our team. We are now seeking an ambitious Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer to join our supportive department and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of property transactions.
What You'll Do As a Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer at our clients law firm practice, you will manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, handling all aspects of residential conveyancing. Your work will include:
Sales and purchases

Deeds of Variation

Remortgages

Transfers of equity

Right to Buy

Shared ownership schemes

Lease extensions

You will be responsible for ensuring that transactions progress efficiently and that clients receive an excellent service throughout.
A relevant qualification (Solicitor, CILEx, or CLC) is desirable, though experienced fee earners with proven caseload management will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.

Independently manage your caseload as an experienced Residential Property Fee Earner.

Progress files in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Use strong organisational skills and IT competency, including web-based case management systems.

Demonstrate commercial awareness, understanding practice targets and generating fee income in line with expectations.

Provide support, guidance, and development to assistants and paralegals.

Handle freehold, leasehold, and shared ownership matters.

Respond to client enquiries professionally in person, by phone, and through remote channels.
