Children’s Support Workers – Temp to Perm Opportunities\n\nWe are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Children’s Support Workers to join our team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people, providing high-quality care and emotional support in a safe, nurturing environment.\n\nAs a Children’s Support Worker, you will play a key role in promoting the emotional well-being, independence, and rights of the young people in your care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure that every child feels safe, respected, and empowered.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Delivering consistent, high-quality care in line with individual care plans\n\n * Supporting the emotional, behavioural, and social development of young people\n\n * Helping young people make informed choices and develop life skills\n\n * Maintaining a safe, structured, and non-judgemental environment\n\nRequirements:\n\n * A minimum of 6 months experience working with children or young people in a similar setting\n\n * A full UK driving licence\n\n * A calm, compassionate, and empathetic nature\n\n * A proactive and resilient approach with a strong “can-do” attitude\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\n * Competitive pay rates with additional supplements\n\n * A clear pathway to a permanent position\n\n * Ongoing support and training to help you thrive in your role\n\nPlease note: The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check as part of our rigorous safeguarding process.\n\nSCR is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
