Position: RWC Position: permanent Location: Lydney Salary: Competitive We are now seeking to recruit Responsible Welding Coordinator to work for a busy manufacturing company based in Lydney. The appropriate RWC will be responsible for ensuring that all welding operations adhere to relevant industry standards, such as ISO 3834, EN 1090, etc Responsibilities: Verifying that welders are qualified to perform specific welding tasks and that welding procedures are properly documented and followed. Ensure compliance with CE marking/UKCA requirements and other relevant regulations. Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Oversees day-to-day welding operations, ensuring that all work is performed according to approved procedures and standards. Planning and managing complex welding-related work orders. Testing welder qualification, ensuring that welders possess the necessary skills and knowledge.
