Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to oversee daily operations at our vibrant bar and dining facilities. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bath. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, creating schedules, and designing menus in collaboration with the kitchen team. Additionally, the role involves inventory management, compliance with health and safety regulations, and financial oversight to ensure profitability. You will work closely with the broader hotel team to deliver an exceptional experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members
• Expertise in customer service and ability to create an engaging guest experience
• Experience in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in menu planning and collaborating with kitchens on food and beverage offerings
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other restaurant management tools
• Prior experience in a similar management position, preferably within a hotel or upscale dining environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
