Manicomio Chelsea Restaurant located in Sloane square, is the flagship and first opening of the renowned Manicomio Group of fine Italian restaurants, a high standard dining experience with an exceptional outside space
The Role: You will be the Floor Manager working to exceed expectations, train and inspire your colleagues with your knowledge, skills and passion for great customer service. Working closely with the GM, you will:
Take responsibility for the day to day setting up of the room leading the service
Assist the General Manager with rotas and training
Be responsible for stock control and cost control
Have a hands-on approach to the role and to work closely with your floor and management team, leading by example and delivering an exceptional standard of service
During summer this is a high volume operation
The ideal floor Manager will:
have significant previous fine restaurant experience
confident in leading a team of 10 to 20 people including floor and bar staff
have an excellent knowledge of standard of service
deliver excellent service skills, have an eye for detail and the ability to innovate.
Be confident, capable and creative, with passion and commitment to delivering consistently excellent service
Have the necessary energy , passion and enthusiasm to deliver , and train others, in providing a first class customer service.
be financially aware in terms of staff costing and profitability , GPs and more
have some wine knowledge - WSET certification is an advantage
be well presented with a strong command of written and spoken English.
have the necessary paperwork enabling residency and full time work in the UK
be flexible as you will work on a rota, 5 days out of 7 days
Job Type: Full Time 40-48h per week
