Job Description

Our client, a well-known international law firm, is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to support their highly regarded restructuring and insolvency team on a fixed-term basis. The work will consist of complex and cross-border matters, offering exposure to high-profile matters in a collaborative and commercially minded environment.


Job Description:

  • Advising stakeholders across a range of restructuring, insolvency and special situations matters
  • Advising lenders, debtors, sponsors, distressed investors and insolvency practitioners on non-contentious restructuring matters
  • Working on complex and time-critical transactions that may involve multiple jurisdictions
  • Reviewing and negotiating financing, security and related documentation
  • Supporting strategic advisory work across stressed and distressed scenarios
  • Collaborating with internal teams and international offices to deliver cohesive advice
  • Managing workstreams independently while contributing to broader team deliverables


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A qualified lawyer with demonstrable experience in restructuring, insolvency or special situations
  • Strong legal and technical understanding of restructuring and insolvency frameworks
  • Ability to work confidently with complex documentation
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • A collaborative mindset with confidence to show initiative
  • Ideally 2-8 years PQE, although all relevant experience will be considered

  • Location: London or Bristol
  • Working pattern: Flexible, including significant remote working
  • Duration: 9-12 months, fixed-term contract
