Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and motivated Retail Branch Manager to lead the team at our busy branch in Winchester. The branch has been serving the local area for 35 years, supplying decorating materials to both retail and trade customers. Located on the Andover Road Retail Park, close to Winchester train station, the branch offers an impressive range of trade and designer paints, wallcoverings, and decorating equipment. The opening hours are Monday to Friday 7am‑5pm and Saturday 8am‑5pm. You will manage a team of four and play a vital part in serving customers and keeping the branch running smoothly. To Succeed in the Role of Retail Branch Manager You Will
Demonstrate management or supervisory experience in a similar or relevant role. Have experience of developing a team. Have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business. Be enthusiastic and proactive about selling and inspire staff to achieve high levels of customer service. Understand our focus on customer service and the Brewers values. Represent the Company positively to a wide range of customers. Work independently and make decisions on your own initiative. Have knowledge of the local area (desirable).

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive excellence. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, able to translate customer requirements into product recommendations. Previous experience in the Decorative Industry is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided. Approachable, open and friendly personality – happy to help both customers and colleagues. Enjoys working and supporting a team, while also able to work independently. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business. Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry. Willing to attend training to become a Fire Safety Manager.
