Retail Construction Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (UK-wide travel required)

Our client are a leading UK operator of food service retail sites with a large nationwide portfolio. They are investing heavily in their estate over the next few years and the Project Management team will play a key role in developing and delivering this strategy.

The Role

We're seeking a number of Retail Construction Project Managers to lead the delivery of site development projects-ranging from store refurbishments and site extensions and enhancements, to complete rebuilds. You'll ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Manage projects from detailed design stage through to completion
Oversee tendering, contractor engagement, and programme management
Ensure compliance with planning conditions and HSE requirements
Monitor progress, control costs, and minimise site downtime
Coordinate internal stakeholders and external contractors
Conduct site meetings and snagging inspectionsWhat We're Looking For

Proven project management experience in construction or development in a multi-site retail environment or similar. Experience in food service locations would be highly desirable.
Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
Knowledge of HSE standards and commitment to safe working practices
Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and manage
Enjoy autonomy and variety in a fast-paced environment
Someone who thrives in an autonomous, fast paced environment managing high volumes of projects
