Retrofit Designer- ARB / MCIAT

This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful social housing projects that improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance residents quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop retrofit design solutions in line with PAS2035:2023
- Interpret Retrofit Assessments, Condition Reports and IOEs
- Produce detailed technical specifications and design documentation
- Develop ventilation strategies (Approved Document F compliant)
- Undertake U-value calculations, thermal bridging analysis and condensation risk assessments
- Identify building risks, constraints and propose mitigation solutions
- Support the Whole House Retrofit approach
- Fully qualified Architect MCIAT or ARB accredited (essential)
- Experience in domestic retrofit projects
- Strong knowledge of insulation, ventilation, moisture management and fabric-first principles
- Good working knowledge of xbpsjku Revit/CAD and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of PAS2035 and retrofit compliance requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Site travel as required
Bristol (Hybrid 2/3 Days Office Based)
