This is a new dedicated role within the Group
Managing the organisations risk, governance and internal control processes and a co-sourced internal audit function. The role supports strategic decision-making by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the business, ensuring compliance with internal, regulatory and industry best practice standards.
Risk Management
Oversee the groups risk management process including risk statements, production of risk registers and interim and annual reporting.
Support business units in strengthening control environments. and advise the groups business continuity committee
Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
Internal Audit
In collaboration with internal audit partnersdevelop and support delivery of the annual internal audit plan.
Internal Controls
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Conduct routine testing of the groups internal controls
Reporting and Communication
Prepare periodic risk reporting for interims and annual reporting
Providing regular reports to senior management and the audit and risk committee on all risk, compliance and internal audit matters
You will be;
Proven experience in risk management and compliance
Professional certification (e.g., IRM, ICA, CCEP, or similar) preferred
Strategic thinking and problem-solving
High attention to detail and integrity
Strong organisational and project management skills
