Job Description
Risk Lead – Major Infrastructure Programme
London/Lower Thames Region (3 days on site – Essex)
Permanent | £95,000–£100,000 + package (depending on experience)
We are supporting a major infrastructure programme in the Lower Thames region and are looking to appoint a Risk Lead to join the project at enabling works stage.
This is a nationally significant, long-term scheme currently progressing through archaeological enabling works ahead of main construction. The successful individual will play a key role in shaping and leading the risk function as the project transitions into main works delivery.
The Role
As Risk Lead, you will:
Lead and coordinate the overall risk management strategy across the scheme
Deliver and oversee QSRA and QCRA analysis
Facilitate structured risk workshops with senior stakeholders
Build and organise a risk team aligned to programme requirements
Ensure risk is integrated into cost, schedule and commercial decision-making
Provide clear, structured reporting to senior leadership
This is a leadership position requiring ownership, structure and influence within a complex infrastructure environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has strong experience delivering QSRA and QCRA on major infrastructure programmes
Has led or built a risk team within a project environment
Is comfortable operating within NEC contract environments
Understands risk across enabling and main works phases
Can operate confidently at senior leadership level
Location
Hybrid working with 3 days per week on site in the Lower Thames / Essex region (Grays area).
