This is a strategic opportunity to join a high-performing, consultancy-style project controls team embedded within a nationally significant transportation programme. You’ll take a leading role in shaping risk strategy, advising senior stakeholders, and delivering best-in-class quantitative risk analysis.

The role suits an experienced Risk Manager ready to step up or a Senior Risk Manager operating at Associate Director level, with strong expertise in QRA and Monte Carlo risk modelling.

The Role

You’ll lead both qualitative and quantitative risk management across complex, multi-workstream programmes, providing insight that directly informs executive decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading end-to-end risk management across multiple workstreams
  • Facilitating risk workshops and maintaining robust, objective-aligned risk registers
  • Delivering Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) using tools such as @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, or equivalent
  • Applying Monte Carlo simulation and integrated cost and schedule risk techniques
  • Producing high-quality reporting, dashboards, and scenario modelling (Power BI)
  • Advising senior client stakeholders and supporting programme governance
  • Working closely with planning, commercial, and delivery teams to embed risk best practice

About You

We’re looking for a risk professional with:

  • Proven experience managing risk on large-scale infrastructure or transportation programmes
  • Strong technical capability in QRA, Monte Carlo simulation, and integrated cost/schedule risk
  • Proficiency with industry-standard risk tools (ARM, @Risk, PRA, Safran Risk, or similar)
  • Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
  • A structured, analytical, and data-driven approach to risk management

Why Apply?

  • Contribute to a nationally significant programme with long-term impact
  • Operate in a consultancy-style, embedded project controls environment
  • Clear progression toward senior leadership and AD-level roles
  • Flexible hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package
  • Contract option available up to £550/day (inside IR35), depending on experience
