£480/day (Umbrella)

We’re looking for an experienced 1st Line of Defence Risk & Control professional to support the Regulation Lead in overseeing UK/EU MiFID II/MiFIR compliance across Markets, Banking, Services & Wealth Management for a leading investment bank in Belfast.

✨ Responsibilities:

Lead MiFID/R governance forums & oversight

Enhance controls, manage risks & resolve issues

Track & report key risk/performance metrics

Maintain UK/EU MiFID/R control library & publications

Partner with EU teams to ensure compliance health

Work with Compliance, Legal & Audit to keep the framework strong

✅ Skills needed:

✔ Financial Services & Markets knowledge

✔ Experience with MiFID II/MiFIR or other major regulations

✔ Proven regulatory change/implementation expertise

✔ Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
