Position: Road Freight Operations Account Manager
Location: Wythenshawe
Hours: Mon - Fri, 9:00 - 17:30 (Flexible start and finish times)
Hybrid working: 2 days from home, 3 office-based
Salary: Up to £34,000 (Negotiable) + bonuses

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end road freight operations for a portfolio of clients
Act as the primary contact for customer accounts, ensuring service excellence
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
Negotiate rates with hauliers and suppliers to deliver cost-effective solutions
Provide quotations and track market trends to remain competitive
Coordinate collections and deliveries across the UK and Europe
Monitor and resolve operational issues, ensuring on-time performance
Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for shipments
Collaborate with internal teams to support account growth and retention
Support the sales team during client visits and account reviewsWhat We're Looking For
Previous experience in road freight forwarding/operations
Strong commercial awareness and customer service skills
Confident in managing accounts and building long-term relationships
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask
