A fantastic opportunity has arisen for talented and ambitious individuals to join our exceptional front-of-house team at Rocket Food - London's leading luxury caterer and specialists in remarkable events, weddings and private parties.

We seek experienced senior waiting staff and event bartenders to join our wonderful service team. We are always keen to hear from individuals who would like to join us in "Revelling in the exceptional".

We're widely regarded as one of London's top event catering and hospitality companies, our reputation has been built over 25 years, delivering glamourous parties in some of the country's most prestigious venues.

The role is mixed across different areas of service depending on your existing skill sets and those you wish to develop with us. This ranges from exceptional senior food service, managing the kitchen pass during canape receptions, leading teams for dinners, high end wine service for our bespoke dinners, and senior bar service either on the champagne bar or the cocktail bar; all for our client events predominantly in London, but occasionally across the UK and abroad.

Our selection criteria are based on your character as well as your experience. You will be provided with all necessary skills training to compliment your existing skills.

What we're looking for:

• Individuals with 2-3+ years hospitality experience within luxury restaurants, venues or events either in the UK or abroad
• You will be an excellent team player with a hands-on and organised approach to your role, passionate about the team and working in a leading catering and events company.
• Confidence guiding the food or drinks service teams assigned to your area for the day, and collaborating with the floor managers to orchestrate a smooth set up and maintain a good flow of service during the event
• Health & Safety & Food Hygiene certified
• Excellent level of spoken English
• A decent knowledge for great food and wine
• Strong attention to detail and a flexible, enthusiastic can-do attitude.

You will be immaculately presented with high standards of personal hygiene and will act as an ambassador for Rocket at the country's most prestigious venues.

Our people will always be our most important asset and we're proud to offer pay rates in line with the London Living Wage of from £13.85 (£15.5) per hour for our Junior staff, £14.79 (£16.5) per hour for our seniors to £16.32 (£18.3) per hour for our Head Waiters and Cocktail Bartenders. The rate in the brackets includes your holiday pay (this is accrued as you work at a rate of 12.07%), depending on experience and role.
