We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Lead to join our team at a vibrant nursery in the heart of the community.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent leadership skills, and a nurturing approach to childcare.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of nursery staff to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development for children
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to provide regular updates on children's progress
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to thrive
- Drive continuous improvement in nursery operations and educational programmes
Experience and qualifications
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting
Qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above)
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
Strong organisational skills to effectively manage daily nursery activities
Paediatric first aid certificate (preferable)
Safeguarding training and understanding
