Rural Surveyor – Estate Management & Valuations
Location: Macclesfield
Contract: Permanent

Our client is known for delivering expert, trusted advice and is now looking for a motivated professional to help grow their client base while playing a key role in the continued success of the business.
The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of rural property consultancy—providing expert advice on valuations, estate management, and land transactions. You’ll work closely with clients to support their long-term goals, from development opportunities to navigating planning and compensation matters.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, taking ownership of their work, and making a real impact within a growing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality rural property valuations and estate management advice
- Identify and advise on land promotion and commercial development opportunities
- Support clients through planning applications and rural property transactions
- Manage compensation and compulsory purchase claims
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with farming clients
- Advise on grant schemes and subsidy opportunities
About You
- MRICS qualified (essential)
- FAAV qualification (desirable)
- 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in rural surveying
- Strong understanding of agricultural legislation and rural planning
- Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Confident using IT systems and software
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
