HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – Read Write Inc Specialist

Are you a passionate HLTA with proven experience delivering Read Write Inc (RWI)? Do you thrive on helping children build confidence in reading, writing, and phonics? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Oldham that is seeking a skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

The Role

As an HLTA, you will:

Deliver high-quality Read Write Inc (RWI) sessions across EYFS and KS1

*

Support pupils’ progress in phonics, reading, and writing

*

Work closely with class teachers and the literacy lead to maintain high standards

*

Lead small groups and provide targeted interventions

*

Contribute positively to a nurturing and inclusive school environment

The Ideal Candidate

*

Holds HLTA status (or equivalent experience)

*

Has hands-on experience with Read Write Inc (RWI)

*

Experience working within a UK primary school setting

*

Confident, proactive, and passionate about pupil progress

*

Available to start ASAP and commit to a full-time role
