We are currently looking for a Delivery Manager to support our Housing SaaS Platforms. The individual in this role will be responsible for the availability of our platforms – including NEC Mobile, NEC Scheduler, NEC Repairs, and NEC Engage.
The responsibilities for this role include Monitoring, Planned Maintenance, Service Meetings, and Support. The ideal candidate will have experience with these tasks, preferably with Housing Management Software or similar Public Sector SaaS Platforms.
Monitoring:
This role involves ensuring adequate monitoring and alerting across the Housing SaaS platforms, including Postgres, Networks, Patroni, and Servers.
Planned Maintenance:
This includes maintaining patching upgrades for Servers and Patroni, maintaining certification, planning hardware changes, reviewing content for new releases, and optimizing database performance, including fragmentation resolution.
Support:
The role acts as the point of contact between housing and CST (Central Services Technology), coordinating technical resources, establishing check procedures, working with application teams to troubleshoot issues, ensuring 24/7 coverage, and working with CST teams to meet SLAs. It also involves collaborating with the helpdesk to develop support plans.
Service Meetings:
This involves running regular service meetings with stakeholders like Project Managers, Product teams, Developers, CST, Architects, and Consultants. The Delivery Manager will document and drive actions, report results, plan server capacity increases, and outline infrastructure upgrade roadmaps.
Main Responsibilities:
- Publishing daily health check reports and analyzing system status, reporting issues to stakeholders.
- Taking action based on trend analysis.
- Arranging STO and Emergency CR as needed based on monitoring analysis.
- Monitoring CST changes that could impact services and mitigating risks.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven relationship management experience.
- Working knowledge of ITIL (v4 preferred).
- Excellent communication and management skills.
- Knowledge of SaaS technologies, especially in Azure.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, listen, and make decisions.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing Service Improvement Plans.
- Knowledge of the Public Sector, especially Local Government and Housing.
- Resilience and independence as a self-starter.
