Description About the team and what we do
The safeguarding team supports the organisation in protecting the public, managing safeguarding concerns, and making external referrals when necessary. The function of the safeguarding team is to support the NMC to meet its safeguarding obligations as a charity. Additionally, we contribute to the development of NMC safeguarding policies, guidance documents, and training to promote best practice across the organisation.
We are now seeking a Safeguarding Advisor to join our Safeguarding Team and help us respond to complex safeguarding concerns, provide expert advice to colleagues, and ensure safeguarding is fully embedded across the organisation
Your role and impact:
You are an individual with strong safeguarding knowledge and experience advising on complex safeguarding concerns within health, social care, regulatory or charitable settings. You have sound judgement, are confident in assessing risk, and can provide clear, person-centred advice across a range of safeguarding scenarios. Collaborative and solution-focused, you build positive relationships across teams and communicate sensitively and effectively.
