As a Safety Leadership Coach, your activities will include the following:
Safe System of Work
Provide coaching and guidance on client Safety Processes and Systems, and ensure a thorough understanding of the Framework.
Coaching on Control of Work, Isolations and Risk Assessment against company procedure and best practice.
Monitor effectiveness of Tool-Box Talks, and provide training and coaching as required.
Training for nominated persons on their roles and responsibilities in the Safe System of Work company process.
Monitor effectiveness on and coach crews on conducting meaningful Safe System of Work audits on permits and control certificates.
Conduct and record SSoW Audits.
SHE Management
Provide support to Supervisors on SSST Program, its implementation, and monitor and report on its effectiveness.
Coach on and conduct TOFS with all Crews.
Coaching and Training on various active monitoring topics - e.g. WSOs and DiR.
Coach personnel in behavioural modification systems.
General
Provide advice and support in relation to SHEMS and SHE good practice.
Provide support to the asset in achieving Operational Excellence and Safety Performance.
Undertake duties as directed by Line Manager e.g. Incident investigation, continuous improvement projects, inductions, inspections, audits.
Produce a trip summary report.
Experience
Experience in an Offshore Safety position.
Experience in Project Management, Planning, and scheduling.
Proven track record in a similar role with a desire to make a difference in a progressive and challenging work environment.
Incident Tracking databases and incident investigations skills.
Communicating with operational and supervisory personnel.
Working with SHE management systems, safety observation schemes and behavioural modification systems.
Positive leadership in encouraging teams and team members to be part of, and contribute to, the objectives of the organisation, thereby contributing to the profitability of the asset.
Computer Skills / Microsoft Office Applications
Qualifications
Formal Health and Safety Qualification (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent).
Auditor Qualification.

BOSIET or FOET Offshore Survival
