We areseekingan experienced and motivatedSalaried GPto join the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at University Hospital Lewisham.This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality urgent and primary care within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. You will work alongside the UTC Lead GP, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Emergency Care Practitioners, nursing teams, and specialty services to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.You will practisein accordance withGMC Good Medical Practicestandards and uphold Trust values ofCare, Respect, and Communication.Main duties of the jobDeliver high-quality urgent and primary care consultations for patients of all ages.Undertake clinical triage asrequired.Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute presentations within UTC scope.Makeappropriate referralsto acute specialties, A&E, community services, or the patient's registered GP.Prescribein accordance withUTC formulary guidelines.Provide health promotion and education, includingappropriate useof NHS services.Completeaccurateclinical documentation and coding using electronic patient record systems (Cerner iCare).Produce discharge summaries and referral documentationin a timely manner.Practise within UTC diagnostic specifications.About usOur people are our greatest asset.
