The Role:

This role works closely with the Sales Director to drive revenue growth, improve reporting processes, and support high-level decision-making through accurate forecasting and effective sales collateral. It involves leading and developing Account Managers and Sales Executives to achieve quarterly and annual targets, while playing a key part in shaping and communicating the overall sales strategy. The position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with agencies, proactively identifying new business opportunities, and responding to briefs with tailored, compelling proposals. Additionally, the role focuses on managing the sales pipeline for accurate forecasting, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful campaign delivery, and leveraging market and industry insights to generate innovative sales ideas and opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Sales Director to improve and increase reporting lines, deliver revenue projections, and provide collateral for use at senior level
  • Help to manage the Account Managers and Sales Executives, and lead them towards both their quarterly and annual sales objectives, delivering feedback, and inputting into the appraisal process
  • Cultivate and grow C-Screens relationships with agencies. Keeping these teams educated and updated on the opportunities that exist within the C-Screens portfolio of channels
  • Input into the sales strategy and help communicate this to the wider sales team
  • Build and manage relationships with agencies, countering objections with a relevant and positive response
  • Identify bespoke opportunities and proactively reach out to agencies to deliver clear concise sales collateral with a view to securing a sale
  • Dissect and delegate any inbound briefs, ensuring it is responded to in an effective and timely manner
  • Proactively target brands who haven’t briefed C-Screens (or who have lapsed) with relevant and bespoke ideas
  • Work with C-Screens Directors and wider team to formulate ideas, and drive innovation creating sales assets where relevant
  • Ensure you and your team keep the Sales pipeline up to date to enable effective forecasting by the Sales Director for weekly reporting
  • Work closely with Operations team to ensure implementation to agreed standards and timeframes, ensuring departmental communication and feedback remains strong, and ensuring campaigns are delivered from initiation through to post campaign analysis
  • Monitor trade press, national press and online bulletins for client and industry insight to stimulate sales opportunities

 

Essential:

  • Evidenced experience of the media market
  • Strong agency relationships across all categories and key agencies, notably Publicis
  • A confident and engaging presenter
  • Be able to demonstrate competent analytical and numerical skills
  • Creative, Open, forward-thinking and persuasive style
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly personable and enjoy working in a team, the ability to establish good working relationships with peers
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Desirable:
