This is an inside sales role with a growing UK technology consultancy. Their clients span automotive, architecture and engineering (AEC), robotics, research, media, and immersive technology. The work is technically complex and commercially varied, which means every conversation teaches you something. Most B2B sales roles can't offer that.
There are defined progression routes into account management, business development, or commercial operations. The team is small enough that your work is visible, and large enough that you have proper support around you. Performance is measured on response speed, qualification accuracy, meetings booked, quote turnaround, and pipeline contribution. No mystery metrics.
What will the Sales Development Representative actually be doing?
You own inbound lead response, qualification, quoting, and scheduling. You coordinate meetings and demonstrations between clients and technical delivery teams. You keep the CRM accurate and the pipeline progressing.
Day to day, this includes:
Responding to inbound enquiries from web, email, phone, and campaign activity
Qualifying prospects on requirements, timelines, budgets, and decision-making structure
