Our solutions deliver value to many of the UKs leading grocery retailers and food logistics providers as well as to household names including JCB, Eddie Stobart, Carlsberg, Waitrose, and Royal Mail.We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive new business pipeline through outbound activity, qualification, and booking high-quality meetings. As part of a structured sales process, you will engage prospects through telephone, email, social media, and digital tools, attend industry events, and join discovery calls to ensure a strong handover to the sales team.This is a target-driven role requiring ownership, consistency, and the ability to balance activity with quality.What you will be doingGenerate 1215 qualified meetings per month aligned to target customersExecute outbound activity across phone, email, and LinkedInQualify prospects against defined criteriaManage follow-up through a structured cadenceAttend industry events and conferences to network and generate opportunitiesJoin discovery calls to introduce opportunities and support handoverMaintain accurate CRM records using Salesforce and other toolsWork closely with Account Executives to ensure meeting qualityContinuously improve messaging, targeting, and approach based on resultsWhat we are looking forMinimum 2 years experience in a target-driven sales or business development role (B2B preferred)Evidence of meeting or exceeding KPIs and performance targetsExperience in outbound prospecting or generating new businessStrong communication skills, both over the phone and in personConfidence networking and building relationships at eventsHigh levels of organisation and attention to detailAbility to follow structured processes and maintain consistencyResilient mindset with the ability to handle rejection and maintain outputSelf-sufficient, proactive, and accountable for resultsCompensation & Expectations£30,000 base salary + £10,000 OTE (uncapped)1215 qualified meetings per monthMeetings must align with defined qualification standards and target customersPerformance measured on activity, quality, and pipeline contributionTech StackSalesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, TrumpetWhy Microlise?When your groceries arrive at your door or you sign for your online parcel, one or more of our software, telematics or proof-of-purchase solutions has probably been used.
