Business Development Account Manager


Role Overview

As a Business Development Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, winning, and growing new high-value accounts. Your primary goal is to drive profitable revenue growth by tailoring solutions that meet customer needs, adding expertise to achieve customer goals, and positioning the company as a trusted long-term partner.


Key Responsibilities

  • Win & Develop High-Value Accounts: Proactively identify and target major potential clients to exceed annual sales and gross profit targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Build and execute tailored account plans to ensure consistent growth and ROI.
  • Bespoke Solutions: Uncover customer pain points, decision-making processes, and procurement strategies to offer specialized solutions.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders through regular on-site visits and virtual touchpoints.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Highlight value-added services and industry expertise to position the company as a strategic partner.
  • Data & Insights: Maintain detailed CRM records and monitor client initiatives and market trends to inform sales tactics.
  • Stock & Fulfillment: Manage special customer stock levels, negotiate call-off orders, and source materials that meet client specifications while maintaining cost-efficiency.
