Following many successful years in the role, the current Sales Director is planning retirement, creating a rare and exciting opportunity for a commercially driven senior salesperson to join the business and lead the next phase of growth.
This is a succession-based appointment with clear progression to full Sales Director responsibility.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-calibre sales leader who can:
Generate and sustain a strong level of turnover
Develop strategic new business opportunities
Maximise existing client relationships
Lead and inspire a sales function
Contribute at board level to overall business strategy
The successful candidate will work closely with the retiring Sales Director to ensure a smooth transition, gaining full insight into the client base, operational capabilities and market positioning before assuming full leadership responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth across commercial print services
Develop and implement a clear sales strategy aligned with company objectives
Personally secure high-value new business opportunities
Maintain and grow key accounts
Mentor, lead and develop the sales team
Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
Represent the business at senior client level
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a proven print industry sales professional with:
A strong track record of generating significant turnover
Experience within commercial print
Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on sales capability
Leadership experience or readiness to step into a director‑level role
Commercial acumen and financial awareness
Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills
This role would suit a high‑performing Sales Manager ready to step up into a board‑level position.
