Job Title: Sales Engineer Formwork & Falsework

Industry Sector: Construction, Formwork & Falsework, Climbing Systems, Shoring, Groundwork, Temporary Works Construction Hire, Trenching, Pilling, Propping, Civil Engineering, Specialist Formwork & Falsework Sub-Contractors, reinforced concrete sub contractors and Main Contractors

Area to be covered: South

Remuneration: Up to £60,000 + £15,000 Bonus

Benefits: Hybrid Car (or allowance of £600 per month) + full benefits package

The role of the Formwork & Falsework Sales Engineer will involve:

1. Technical field sales position, selling predominantly the sale of formwork and falsework equipment and climbing systems
2. Smaller amount of time selling the hire of formwork and falsework equipment and climbing systems, minimum 5 month projects
3. Proactively stimulating demand for equipment with predominantly reinforced concrete sub contractors, but also main contractors and other specialist formwork & falsework sub-contractors
4. New business development role
5. £2m revenue target
6. Projects from £30,000-£40,000 up to £1m+
7. Glenigan leads provider, plus it will be expected you will have a network of contacts from within the market
8. A proportion of time will be spent on construction sites
9. Utilising a team of qualified engineers for technical support

The ideal applicant will be a Formwork & Falsework Sales Engineer with:

• Formwork or falsework technical field sales experience
• Open to hire or sale field sales backgrounds
• Contacts within reinforced concrete sub contractors and other formwork and falsework sub-contractors is highly desirable
• Construction site experience, may consider on the tools experience looking for field sales role
• Strong new business skills
• Energetic, drive, passion and enthusiastic
• Mix of construction and engineering background preferred
