Job Title: Sales Estimator

Type: Full Time | Permanent | Monday – Friday

Pay Rate: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

Location: Portsmouth

Start Date: Immediate

We are proud to be supporting our Portsmouth based client, in recruiting a skilled Sales Estimator to join their sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in a leading supplier of window and glass in the South.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Sales Manager to prepare quotes and manage tenders for fabrication on residential and commercial projects of varying sizes.

* Develop accurate cost estimates using estimating software.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with window and door installers, developers, and architects.

* Perform general administrative duties as required.

* Welcome and assist trade customers when necessary.

* Provide quotations to trade clients and homeowners using our system.

* Review tender enquiry documents and ensure accurate pricing.

* Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and senior management.

* Finalise any revisions and submit completed pricing.

Experience Required:

* Previous experience in a commercial Estimator role, with proficiency in Logikal or Window Designer estimating software.

* Highly organised, capable of managing a continuous flow of enquiries.

* Knowledge of fenestration and the wider building envelope fabrication and installation market is advantageous.

* Experience interpreting project drawings and a strong technical understanding of various aluminium glazing and door systems.

Person Specification:

* Highly efficient, organised, and detail-oriented.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Strong data entry and IT skills.

* Ability to manage a high-pressure workload effectively
