We are looking for a Sales Estimator to work on a permanent basis for a large engineering company based near Ashton Under Lyne.

Salary is c£34-40,000 per annum plus 25 days' holiday and bank holidays, pension, bonus, healthcare etc.

Duties for the Sales Estimator role: As a Sales Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales process by reviewing customer enquiries, analysing technical requirements, and producing accurate cost estimates and quotation documentation.

Key Responsibilities Receiving and reviewing customer enquiries via email, phone, and online portals Analysing Bills of Materials (BoMs) to determine required manufacturing processes Liaising with external suppliers to obtain pricing and technical information Logging and tracking enquiries using internal systems and dashboards Following up with suppliers to obtain timely responses Building cost breakdowns for component parts and processes Preparing and submitting quotation documentation to customers Skills and experience for the Sales Estimator: Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong commercial awareness Excellent communication xbpsjku and problem-solving skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Proactive approach with the ability to work within a busy team Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (especially Excel) How to apply for the Sales Estimator role: If you could be interested in the Sales Estimator role, please call Rebecca at Simply Recruitment Group or press APPLY NOW!
